Jeth’s early life:

Jeth is a Filipino-British Hip-Hop/R&B artist based in Leicester, United Kingdom. He grew up in Manila, Philippines where he studied until his first year of high school. As a young student in the Philippines, Jeth would write rhymes and songs for his classmates. He also helped alot of his friends to write love notes and poems for their special someone and would give them advices about love and relationships.

He moved to the United Kingdom when he was just 12. In the UK, he got introduced to alot of Hip/Hop and R&B and he quickly developed a huge passion for this genre. He listened alot to artists such as Eminem, Bowwow, Nas, LL Cool J, Cassidy, Craig David, Fabolous, Nelly and many others.

Jeth discovered his ability to write/rap and perform at the age of 12. He started writing, recording and performing in his school and his friends parties. His style was developed from himself being a “love letter rhymer” when he was younger. Jeth writes his songs about many different aspects of love, life and relationship.

Jeth is also a keen dancer and basketball player. He used to play for Leicester’s basketball county team “Leicester Riders” junior when he was 14. He used to perfrom street dance and break dancing around his city with other group of dancers and he also used to dance for music videos. His first radio appearance as an artist was on 2004 at102.3 FM takeover radio advertsing the first song he released for the public “Morethan Friends”. He followed it up with a series of R&B songs which made him the artist he is now.
